The annual LEAF award brings together more than 100 top veterans from the world’s elite architectural design circles. They will discuss and review the best new international construction projects based on their expertise. The award has been running for more than 17 years, and all shortlisted works and winning cases are considered to be the future standards of the architectural design industry. Last year, we were very proud to attract a record number of truly international entries from all over the world from the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Japan, China, Kuwait, France, India, Brazil, Spain, Turkey and other places. The shortlisted projects came from leading international architectural names such as Zaha Hadid, David Chipperfield Architects, Perkins & Will, Nikken Sekkei, West Line Studio, Davide Macullo Architects, Sanjay Puri Architects, SOM, Foster & Partners, GOA, Tetsuo Kobori Architects, R&A Architecture and many more. At the ceremony held in Frankfurt, Germany this year, we are also very happy to pay tribute to Sir David Chipperfield and thank him for his outstanding contributions to architecture and design so far. We are very fortunate to invite Sir David to accept the award personally because he also pays tribute to the profession itself. With our truly superb jury team this year, we are really honored to celebrate and praise the most creative and perfectly practiced works, which will undoubtedly leave a huge mark on their surroundings and leave a deep impression on people.
