Life is like a piece of clothing, knitted with strings and threads of moments in life so that everyone would have different styles. In this project, marble materials and beige tiles are applied throughout the living space while the dark and light colors of the furniture balancing with each other, creating a neat structural layout and a mild atmosphere.
As soon as walking into the space, a marble bar is set up in the entryway as a preparing area for going out. In the living room, the sliding doors used on the hidden storage cabinets need no extra room, allowing the residents to be more efficient with the space. The door panels with stripes elongate the sight, creating a visual illusion of a bigger space. The sofas match the beige carpet with light gray, bringing out a simple and natural Nordic style. The spacious L-shaped sofa satisfies the owner’s needs for having some family time or having some house guests. Large floor-to-ceiling windows extend from the living room to the dining room, allowing natural lights to light up the space completely. The self-contained kitchen keeps cooking time free from outside distractions, and the irregular-shaped light above the dining table adds layers to the orderly space.
In the hallway to the bedroom, there is a storage wall with warm light carefully devised by the designer, which is the best spot for storing books and displaying artworks. The bedroom is mainly light monochromatic, creating a soft atmosphere for relaxation. The semi-transparent wardrobe beside the bed visually enlarges the space. The dressing table is connected to the walk-in closet, making the process of getting ready an easy and pleasant experience.
The quality of life lies in the details. From the bright and clean public space to both private and functional bedrooms, it shows how precise the designer is to find the line between public and private. With this project, the designer is looking forward to building a cozy home for the residents. At which they can have a great place to host their guests and be able to enjoy some private moments while weaving the strands of life into a unique texture that exclusively belongs to them.
