欣磐石設計- 羅仕哲

此設計案為教堂建築，外觀以屏風造型設計，座落於靠海的城市，支柱設計為的是減輕強風吹拂，此外，以十二根支柱象徵十二支派。在雅各書1:1中提到「作神和主耶穌基督僕人的雅各，請散住十二個支派之人的安」十二支派作為人類的選民，其總結是基督，而基督是以色列的救主和審判主，以此象徵，產生情感連結與共鳴。

設計構想源自於中國人常使用的屏風，富有藏於內隱於外的神秘感，希望在當地可以是一個鮮明的地標，白色的大型屏風設計、外圍的矮牆及沿著沖孔板及植栽的直向燈光與東北側種植的落羽松，呈現更有層次與異國風情的美感，得以吸引尚未信主的人群來一探究竟。

執行層面，分別進行氣候分析、基地分析、坐向分析、面積規劃、法規研討，直至最後的面積計算、設計模型、風洞測試，不斷地分析與搜集數據，一次次的修改，花費近半年的時間，謹慎且仔細的前期作業，才得以擁有現今富麗神聖的成果。

安全性的考量也不得馬乎，質材方面，混凝土的磅數增加、樑柱鋼筋加粗、筏式基礎加深加寬、使用更耐酸鹼的混凝土、防水相較一般工法增加三成、使用耐酸鹼值高的填縫劑，層層把關。建築外觀的皮層分析上，因建築物靠海，空氣中鹽分及降雨的酸鹼度相較其他城市更高，為此使用不鏽鋼材質與特殊塗料與之抗衡，除降低腐蝕的可能性外，更使外觀的沖孔板維持如新、便於清潔。 

在現有的土地與空間善加利用，其中樓梯間因法規限制不得過於狹窄，為此將樓梯間打造成小小聚會所，一旁的透明玻璃更可以欣賞外面窗景，另外，因當地的冬季枯水期相較其他城市更長，為解決用水問題，在樓頂水塔與建物旁，以特殊設計讓原建物自4噸儲水量增加至20噸。環保層面，因建築物造型得以讓風在裡頭產生對流，將風導引進室內，減少空調的使用頻率，全室皆採LED燈具，以此降低能源耗損。

This design project is a church located in a city by the sea. The exterior is shaped into a Chinese-style screen; twelve pillars are designed not only to present the feature of strong wind, but also to symbolize Twelve Tribes of Israel. “James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.” (New International Version, James 1:1) Being the chosen people, Twelve Tribes of Israel play important roles in Christianity. As for Christ, he is the saviour and judge of the world. To establish the relationship between people and the church, the designer merges the above elements into his design.

The design concept is originated from a common screen in Chinese society, which is full of an obscure sense of mystery. The designer aims to make it a distinctive landmark. The large white screen, surrounding low walls, lighting which penetrates the punching plate and planting, and larch trees planted in the east-north side make the design more layer and exotic aesthetic, attracting to non-Christians to have a look as well. 

During the execution, the designer analyses the climate and location data, researches the area planning, deliberates the law, calculates the area, designs the mode, tests the wind tunnel, and so on. It took almost half a year to solemnly and carefully complete the preliminary works by collecting and analysing data so that the brilliant project could be finished.

The consideration of safety is one big point of this project. The concrete weight has been increased; the rebar has been replaced with a thicker one. Also, the raft foundation has been deepened and widened. Besides, the concrete’s resistance to acids and alkali improved, and the waterproofing is increased by 30%. Furthermore, the designer uses the caulk that is highly resistant to acids and alkali. In terms of the façade of the building, the proportion of airborne salinity in this area is higher than average and the situation of acid rain is more severe than other places because of the location. Due to above reasons, the use of stainless steel and special coatings is not only to prevent the building from corrosion, but to keep the exterior punching plates clean and new.

The designer tries to make good use of the land; due to the legal restrictions, he turns the stairwell into a small greeting place where people can enjoy the outside scenery through the transparent window. The dry spell in this area is longer than other cities; to solve the water problem, the designer especially designs a place to increase the water storage which can contains up to 20 tons of water. In terms of eco-friendliness, wind is able to convect due to the shape of the building, leading wind into the interior and reduce the use of air conditioner. Moreover, LED lighting is widely used in the space to diminish energy consumption.
