一個人對家的關鍵記憶，是透過人與人之間的情感連接。而空間則能作為維繫、牢固一個家的載體，傳遞家人之間的互動回憶、思想理念。

由牛頓擺(Newton’s Cradle)的原理作為設計發想：五個質量相同、彼此緊密排列的球體，在最旁側的球回擺碰撞後，將另側的球彈出。球體相碰撞的規律聲音及搖擺的頻率，傳說能讓人集中精神、忘掉煩惱。隨著永恆的擺動，靠著動量的守恆，五顆球體同心協力、傳遞力量；猶如家人、居家空間來回的交流形態。以家作為核心穿梭流動、互通互融。牛頓擺的頻率、線條和原理，透過圓燈、流暢燈條、弧線造型，詮釋家庭主體、能量流動、互動連繫的延伸性。

以深色天花劃分玄關部份，沉穩的氛圍突顯眼前亮麗的餐廳空間。餐廳作為一個家庭聚會的核心，透過45度橢圓天花，對應牆壁雙弧交集的造型。搭配荷蘭品牌moooi的Meshmatics吊燈，猶如宇宙軌跡般呼應核心主軸。開放式深色酒櫃延續玄關之沈穩，一體化順延至走廊。整體公共空間，以此對稱、弧線蜿蜒的元素做變化，深淺之對比則讓空間更有深度與層次。

主人房以深色木紋及直紋玻璃注入舒適靜謐；皮紋則營造細緻觸感；深色調和間接燈光散發安靜怡然之感。入口即可看至窗外景色，多變的畫框引入自然光線、照亮空間。以化妝台分隔睡眠空間與衣帽間，透過深淺相間的天花色調，區分突顯空間層次的變化性。

書房集辦公和休息功能，左邊隱藏着收納床，不影響造型亦能附有實用功能性。延伸客廳的弧形腰線，貫穿空間。開放式書櫃背景牆紙兼具大膽與張力的視覺效果，為空間帶出別出一格的獨特性。

整體空間運用不同軌跡的弧交織在各場域。大小弧的造形細節塑造立體感。正面看似是簡純的線，轉換另一個角度後則能變成立體形狀。讓空間更顯深度及細部巧思。質料上以噴砂銅鋼勾勒線條、直紋玻璃營造通透輕盈、特色牆紙提昇時尚質感。以質料成為對話的語彙之一，透過此語彙不同的材質及色彩，成為空間之中的對應與問答。顏色、燈光、形狀在空間中互通交流，形塑家庭成員互動的場景。

The essential memory of home and family is built upon the emotional connection between people. A space, on the other hand, is the medium, allowing interaction of family members, making memories and developing core values. It nourishes and strengthens the family bonds.

Inspired by the basic concept of Newton’s Cradle: five spheres with same weight hung side by side closely together, pushing and swinging back and forth on the sides. It is said that the steady rhythm and the regular movement can make one focus or stop one’s worry.

The perpetual swinging demonstrates the conservation of momentum, as if five spheres are working together to transmit the force. The concept is just like how family members interact with each other in the living environment. Home, is then the center where energy flows, going back and forth. Newton’s Cradle, the rhythm, the lines, the concept, are all interpreted then by use of round lamps, smooth light tubes, and curved-lines, symbolizing a family as the core, with flowing energy and interaction in between.

The dark colored ceiling divides the entrance, contributing to a calm atmosphere. Entering the space, the bright and light-colored dining area pops up in front of the eyes. Functioning as the center of a family gathering, the use of a 45-degree oval ceiling corresponds to the style of overlapped arch shapes on the walls. The Dutch brand Moooi’s Meshmatics chandelier, looking like the orbits in space, echoes the main concept. The dark-colored open wine cellar extends the calm vibe of the entrance, coordinating the atmosphere till the whole hallway. The whole public area consists of diverse symmetrical shapes with curved smooth lines, contributing to more depth and layers of darkness and brightness.

The owner’s room is applied with dark wooden materials and striped glass panels, creating a sense of comfort and tranquility. The texture of leather, on the other side, establishes a sense of fine exquisiteness. Dark tones and indirect lighting build a comfortable sense. One can see the view outside the windows at the entrance, while the windows as picture frames are introduced in natural lighting to brighten up the space. The dressing table divides the bed and the wardrobe, while the ceiling’s rich and light colors partitions and gives the space a different atmosphere.

The whole space has the traces of arches, curved lines and ovals, interweaving together in different areas. With the use of big and small curves, the detailed design turns the two-dimensional shapes into a three-dimensional sense. Looking from the front, they are just simple lines. While looking from the other angles, they can become three-dimensional shapes, creating a deeper depth, a detailed sphere. Textures of abrasive blasting on copper steel to outline the shape, striped glass panels establish translucency and lightness, while special wallpapers elevate the modern vibe in the space. Textures and materials become the design language, expressing echoes and interaction of the family members. Similar colors, lightings and shapes reappear here and there, shaping an image of a harmonious relationship in the family.
