共生是生物界和人類社會普遍存在的關係之一，對此公共閱覽空間設計也有著極大的啟示作用和借鑒意義。在此共享空間中，人們可以在休憩空間中休息，閱讀，沉思，也可以在這樣的空間中享受一個人的寧靜或甚喝杯咖啡、享受美食。

共享空間設計實現了空間的多功能、多元化發展，也逐漸成為了推動社會發展變化的重要力量。生活，更多的是關乎精神層面的追求。我們應心存感激，用有限的資源和條件回饋社會。這是本案的立意所在，更是設計的初衷，讓閱讀成為共享，讓生活打破階級。

一樓內部規劃複合型空間，以閱讀為主，另配置麵包坊、小型超市、咖啡區等生活休憩功能。入口處以落地牆櫃展示體現垂直綠化，將有機、室內綠化、空氣淨化等功效集合一體，呼應內部空間的設計概念。

聳天的櫃體展現獨有的磅礡氣勢，選書區以奧黛麗•赫本“羅馬假日”在圖書館與男主角初遇時的經典畫面形成書牆展示，令人驚艷。空間感完全跳脫一般閱覽空間印象。後有咖啡美食區，充足的自然光及優雅的空間色彩、裝置，都符合一致性的設計手法。後側即設置光階樓梯，直至二樓。

二樓以中心挑空、環形空間配置，設置畫廊與兒童遊戲區。寬敞場域給孩子足夠的空間，與家人共享閱讀生活。在挑高、開放的空間中，體驗截然不同的閱讀與生活，除了書與人的交流，更增加人與人之間的知識與生活交流。

Symbiosis has been one of the common relationships between the biological world and human society, enlightening the design of public reading space as well. In this shared space, people rest, read and cogitate. This is also a space where people enjoy a moment of calm, have a cup of coffee, and savor food.

The design of shared space carries out the multiple functions and the diversified developments of space, and progressively becomes the crucial strength promoting the social developments.
Life concerns more on the pursuit of spirit. We should be grateful and contribute to the society with the limited resources and conditions. This is the intent of design, making reading communal and making life universal.

The 1st floor is the composite space encompassing the main reading area, the bread shop, the small supermarket, the café, etc. Alongside the building entrance, the floor-to-ceiling display cabinets adorned with plants on the vertical scale unite the organic, indoor greening, air purifying functions, etc. that correspond to the concept of interior design.

The towering cabinets disclose the magnificent momentum.

The design of book walls fascinatingly resembles the movie scene in “Roman Holiday,” in which the actress Audrey Hepburn first met the actor. The space characters are distinct from the general impression to a reading area.

The café, behind the reading area, is embellished with the sufficient daylight and the elegant colors and adornments consistently conformed to the main design skills. The stair lighting, from the 1st to 2nd floor, is gorgeous.

The 2nd floor surrounding the tall indoor space has the art gallery and children’s play area, where the capacious environment is comfy for playing and reading activities. Staying in the tall and open space, people have the different experiences of reading and life.

This is the space not only connects books and people, also enhance the communications of knowledge and life among people.
