Perfectly integrated into the landscape of the Park, the new Álvaro Siza Wing is a building that doesn’t impose itself and doesn’t pretend to be an imposing architectural gesture, but rather an expression of the natural growth of the Serralves Museum, like a new branch growing from a tree. It represents the expression of Serralves’ development while celebrating the global influence of Siza’s work and solidifying Serralves as the place that brings together the most significant collection of buildings designed by the brilliant architect.
全新的阿爾瓦羅・西扎翼樓與公園景觀渾然一體，彷彿自土地中自然生長而出，既不張揚，也不刻意追求宏偉的建築姿態，而是塞拉爾維斯博物館持續演進的有機延伸，如同樹木新生的枝椏般純粹而從容。它不僅承載並呈現塞拉爾維斯一路走來的發展軌跡，也映照出西扎建築語彙在全球建築史中的深遠影響，同時進一步鞏固了塞拉爾維斯作為這位傑出建築師最重要、最完整作品典藏地之一的關鍵地位。
