關於獎項
德國iF設計大獎在1953 年剛設立時，由德國漢諾威展覽公司與德國工業協會以「優良工業設計」為名，進行設計競賽，鼓勵工業設計來扶持相關產業的發展，是世界上最古老的獎項競賽之一。iF設計大獎在國際享有盛名，可說是設計成就的象徵！自獎項設立起，iF 即致力於舉辦公平公正、超然獨立、享譽業界的設計獎，在國際獎項領域奠定了領導的地位。代表卓越設計與傑出設計成就，iF 的品質保證標誌受到全世界認可。雖說是以工業設計聞名的設計獎項，但目前比賽項目類別也涵蓋了建築、室內設計、傳達等不同類別。報名參賽者從知名汽車品牌到個人設計工作室，開放給全球具有潛力的設計人才。2001年，iF總經理暨主席Ralph Weigmann 正式將 iF 更名為 International ForumDesign，並自其後，開始與各國重點會展進行合作，以發掘當地的創新設計產品。
When iF first started in 1953, it was developed by the German Hanover Exhibition Company (Deutsche Messe AG) and the German Industry Association (Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie) as the “Good Industrial Design”. The company conducts design competitions and encourages industrial design to support the development of related industries. The headquarters has been set up at the Hannover Exhibition and Convention Center . Together with the well-known German CeBIT, this is also iF’s annual event ─ iF Design Award, which will be selected in CeBIT. The origin announced at the opening . In 2001, Ralph Weigmann, the general manager and chairman of iF, officially changed the name of iF to International ForumDesign, and since then began to cooperate with key exhibitions in various countries to discover local innovative design products.
Since 1953, iF has been committed to holding fair, aloof, independent, and industry-renowned design awards, in the field of international awards.And then established the leadership position. Representing outstanding design and outstanding design achievements, iF’s quality assurance mark is recognized all over the world. Participants include auto companies to personal design studios.
