潮牌跨界經典鬧鐘，打造居家新亮點：Off-White c/o Braun!
潮流品牌跨界推出聯名商品屢見不鮮，最有名的案例莫過於幾年時尚精品品牌LV與街頭品牌霸主Supreme的聯名。聯名商品價格不菲，不管是為了炒出話題熱度，或者真的是一次藝術與靈感的激盪，總是會有粉絲們大排長龍，只為了能夠將限量商品收歸己用。
而新一代潮流品牌代表Off-White近年也是積極進行跨界聯名，前不久才與韓國Amorepacific（愛茉莉太平洋）旗下美妝品牌共同推出限量「PROTECTION BOX」、與Nike合作聯名鞋款，以及與IKEA共同發行居家用品，很快地我們又迎來了全新的聯名產品——鬧鐘。
沒錯，就是鬧鐘。隨著手機的功能日益方便，單純功能性的鬧鐘儼然成為了一項要被淘汰的家用品——而能夠留下的，都是兼具了品味與設計。Off-White品牌主理人Virgil Abloh 日前在品牌IG上發布了其最新的聯名項目——與設計家電領導品牌德國百靈牌（Braun）共同推出一組限量版的設計款鬧鐘，兼具了Off-Whit強烈風格的潮流設計以及百靈牌的耐用高品質，這並不是Off-White和這個經典品牌的第一次合作，早在2016年雙方便合作推出過限量款手錶。這次合作不僅是雙方再續前緣，更是藉此慶祝百靈牌成立一百週年。
本次聯名以百靈牌經典BC02鬧鐘為原型，其設計靈感來自於工業設計大師Dieter Rams和Dietrich Lubs在80年代所設計的AB1鬧鐘。BC02鬧鐘線條簡潔、俐落，注重功能性的同時亦兼顧了外觀的美感，無一不顯示出德國人追求完美、一絲不苟的極致美學。
聯名款選用鮮豔誇張的螢光橘以及柔和底彩度的淡藍色搭配AB1簡潔的線條以及Off-White的品牌Logo，「這樣的顏色能在任何室內設計中成為亮點。」Abloh表示。這個電池發動的限量版鬧鐘長寬5.7公分，搭配霧面外殼並配有靜音機芯，售價70美金。
目前官網上僅有螢光橘，並已售罄；淺藍款式將於未來釋出。
Virgil Abloh has this morning signalled “an ongoing, overall venture” with design-led home appliance brand, Braun, by launching a pair of limited-edition alarm clocks.
The new Off-White c/o Braun edition alarm clocks mark the second time that Abloh and Off-White have partnered with Braun.
Braun’s longstanding reputation for high quality products with instantly recognisable design sensibilities lends itself to Off-White’s vision for blurring the lines between disciplines, allowing individual products to seamlessly carry signature elements from both partners.
The BC02 compact alarm clock chosen for the launch product stems from the iconic AB1, designed by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs in the late 1980’s.
Available in highly saturated orange or muted light blue colors with Off-White branding, the colors were selected, according to Abloh, because they immediately; “stand out in an interior setting design.”
The battery-powered Off-White c/o Braun edition alarm clocks are 57mm square and feature a matt finish case and dial, a quiet quartz movement with crescendo-sound alarm.
The clocks dropped this morning via Off-White online and selected Off-White boutiques, priced $70 USD.
