澳洲建商Coronation Property住宅大樓Mason & Main, Stage One

Mason & Main Stage One, led by Coronation Property, is designed by internationally renowned architectural practice Woods Bagot. Phase 1 is located in the heart of Merrylands, creating a vibrant mixed-use community consisting of 434 beautifully designed rental apartments in three thoughtfully presented buildings. Just five minutes from Parramatta’s business centre, the site combines design-led residences, resort-style facilities and a vibrant ‘food street’ to become a new local landmark.

Completed in March 2024, the project will encompass 40,000 square meters of apartments, managed by Nation, Coronation Property’s innovative leasing platform, and include 9,000 square meters of retail space, designed with community at its core to inject local vibrancy. Mason & Main Stage One demonstrates respect for history and a vision for the future, creating a new residential landmark for Merrylands.

The development brings a rich experience of interaction and life to the community through the design of innovative public and private spaces, including vibrant laneways, dining and retail areas. The building makes extensive use of materials inspired by local brickyards, such as brick arches, and strives to preserve the architectural style of the community while also enhancing residents’ sense of belonging. The project provides a diverse range of rental options for local housing needs, from compact studios to spacious three-bedrooms, with rents ranging from A$530 to A$875 per week, meeting the long-term needs of Sydney tenants.

Mason & Main Stage One combines smart technology with sustainable design. Through the Nation app, residents can use digital keys, reserve facilities, submit maintenance requests, receive community news, and check traffic and event information. In addition, the project features electric vehicle charging stations, shared vehicles, and rooftop solar panels, reflecting its commitment to environmental responsibility and technological advancement.

The construction process uses efficient modular components such as precast concrete panels, brick slides and prefabricated metal parts to reduce waste and construction defects, making it more cost-effective and environmentally friendly. Demonstrating a commitment to excellence in architectural design, the project team used innovative techniques to ensure material consistency, achieve uniform color and overcame engineering challenges to successfully construct a 4.3 meter span self-supporting brick arch.

During the project, the stormwater culverts beneath the site needed to be upgraded and redesigned to optimize site layout, underground utilities and construction staging, and to achieve a high degree of coordination during the simultaneous construction of multiple buildings to ensure efficient use of resources and subcontractors cooperation. The project team faced economic and resource challenges and effectively maintained schedule and quality standards through flexible schedule adjustments, budget reallocation and strategic procurement.

Mason & Main Stage One is designed with sustainability in mind from planning to operation. Measures such as modular construction, rooftop solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations demonstrate its carbon reduction goals and comply with green building standards, fully demonstrating its commitment to the environment and management capabilities.

Mason & Main Stage One 結合智能科技和永續設計。居民可以通過 Nation 應用程式使用數位鑰匙、預約設施、提交維護請求、接收社區新聞,並查詢交通和活動資訊。此外,項目設置了電動車充電站、共用車輛以及屋頂太陽能板,體現對環境責任和技術進步的承諾。

專案過程中,需針對場地下方的雨水涵洞進行升級和重新設計,以優化場地佈局、地下公用設施和施工分期,並在多棟建築同步建設期間實現高度協調,以確保資源有效利用和分包商協作。項目團隊面對經濟和資源挑戰,透過靈活調整進度、重新分配預算和策略性採購,有效地保持進度和品質標準。

Mason & Main Stage One 的設計從規劃至營運,均秉持永續理念。模組化施工、屋頂太陽能板和電動車充電站等措施,展示了其減碳目標,並符合綠色建築標準,充分展現對環境的承諾和管理能力。
