空間中盎然著一種寧靜氛圍，是在經歷過上海百年風華的時空下，將近代融合中西空間藝術演化於其中，貫融進這雅緻宅邸。風格骨幹帶著新古典的串聯，但線條卻是現代簡約的構成，如中式概念在西風東漸下被簡約化的存菁，亦如殖民式的多元衝擊被老上海的底蘊浸染後呈現那種亦中亦西的多元，空間氛圍滿載了歷史感的文化養份。

大面積的白，乾淨了空間視覺基底，應和寬闊的採光及視野，當陽光灑落浸透整牆的白紗簾時，空間充滿溫度和詩意。長向橫越室寬的公領域，拉長了空間舞台的故事性，將廚區與餐廳及客廳一致序列的作橫向軸線排列，其規劃更深厚了家人間的互動。

長向空間在天花與壁飾上皆以輕古典樣貌的白色線板雕琢鋪陳，延伸出重複的規則與安定層次，更拉深了室內的景深質。設計師運用了些許的對比手法，將白色大面積的輕古典雕琢在安靜中配比了深胡桃沉穩色的壁櫃，當行徑動態間能於整室的白中感受其輕重平衡，讓裝飾風華於寧靜中有更多層次。

次臥為了能拉進自然光線入房，將整片牆開大面窗引入公領域廊道的室外採光，成功的打進自然光暖意。另在色系調和上為不踰越全室簡約調性，裝飾物件多以藍綠色系調和，使視覺活潑卻依然保有其寧靜感，例如青花瓷色的洗手臉盆、淡薄荷色的古典繃皮沙發、以及主臥中的深灰藍衣櫃面體等。 

Cultivated under the glory cultures of Shanghai, the house merging the eastern and western art elements embodiments an exquisite accomplishment of residence.

With the neo-classical architectural structures and contemporary elegant lines, the house design plan carrying the fine essences from both eastern and western cultures, as diverse as the historical colonial cultures in old Shanghai, that are filled with the civilized cultural elements. 

When the sunlight sprinkling in the house, where is comprehensively adorned with white walls and veil curtains, the indoor space exposes the delightful and poetic atmosphere. The expanded public area consistently constructed in horizontal layout cordially bond the family connections.

The lengthy ceilings and walls adorned with delicate classical-style trims agreeably extend the systematic and calm orders, while strengthening the depth of field furthermore. Crafty at applying the contrast skills, the designer put on the dark walnut wall cabinet that exquisitely compared with the massive white spaces diffusing the neo-classical glamour, which compensates its charms in the air of serenity.

To filter in the house more sunlight, the designer used the large windows that successfully transmit to the inner spaces the daylight which is abundant in the public area. The ornaments mostly in blues and greens, which signify the style of elegant simplicity, both amazingly invigorate and soothe the sense of sights, e.g. the blue-and-white wash basin, the classical spring-green leather couch, and the blue-grey wardrobes in the master bedroom.
