元衡設計- 朱妤榆


群英齊聚,朝氣四溢,輸精輸誠,協力齊心。此設計案為高中校史室,為闡述創辦人興學之理念與悲願,紀錄普台人的貢獻與價值,保存完善的校史資料,鑑往知來,啟迪後學。空間規劃上,採取外方內圓的結構配置,外為長方形框架,內部做一橢圓展牆,並在橢圓牆開了兩個可以互通的通道,藉以方形牆及弧形牆的大面積設計各主題,避免呈現一塊塊的零散空間,動線流暢之餘更顯大器。


特別一提,空間配置與主題呈現相呼應,莘莘學子的朝氣與活力展現於此,其中大事紀的主題設計藉以金屬條配搭圓弧牆,鑲嵌LED燈來搭配學校的重要里程,時光的飛動感展現於此。


建材上使用白、藍、灰搭配,圖像及文字藉以燈箱及輸出,更運用LED燈條增添科技感,亦大量使用立體壓克力字提升質感,另,在學校出版品的牆面中使用五種異色的跳色噴漆,增添活潑氛圍,此外,使用五台液晶電視做電子佈告欄,並設有三台可以互動的觸控螢幕,將大量的資訊及學生作品電子化,減少陳列壁面過於繁複的內容。


設計理念以外方內圓概括,藉指人的外表正直,內心圓滑,圓為規,方為矩。規矩是學生應養成行為舉止的法度;普台教育以「覺」的教育為理念,培養學子在一定的規範下自由發展,創新且清新,而本校史室亦希望在不失莊重的規矩中,同時呈現創新與清新的空間氛圍。

 

The gathering of elites, the overflowing of vitality, the dedication of energy and royalty to collaborate hand in hand.


This design project is a school history room for a senior high school, to depict the founder’s principles and wishes towards the establishment of the school, documenting the contributions and values of the Pu Tai people, conserving comprehensively the school’s historical data, to learn from the past and to enlighten the future generation. As for the spatial planning, the structural arrangement of rectangular exterior and the circular interior is adopted, where the exterior is a rectangular frame, while the interior is an oval display wall, with two channels on the oval wall; the large areas of the rectangular wall and the arc wall are used to design various themes, thereby avoiding the presentation of scattered spaces and the smooth circulation further demonstrates a majestic sentiment. What is worthy of mentioning is the mutual correspondence between the spatial arrangement and the theme, where the energy and vitality of the students are demonstrated here.

Amongst these, the thematic design of the chronicles applied metallic strips to go with the arc wall, while the inlaid LED lights show the important milestones of the school, such that the flying dynamic rhythm of time is demonstrated here.

 

The combination of white, blue and grey is used for the construction materials, while the pictures and text are outputted via lightboxes and LED light strips are further applied to enhance the technological sentiment, with a massive amount of use of 3D acrylic text to enhance the quality.
Moreover, on the wall for the school’s publications, 5 different color spray paints are used to increase the lively atmosphere, while 5 LCD televisions are used to set up the electronic bulletin board with 3 interactive touchscreens, thereby electronics the massive amount of data as well as students’ works to reduce excessively complicated content on the display walls.

 

With the rectangular exterior and circular interior as the design concept, it represents a person’s upright appearance with a smooth heart, such that the circle represents the rules and the rectangle represents the regulations.

Rules and regulations are the standards that should become a habit for students’ behaviors; the Pu Tai education is based on the educational principle of “sense,” cultivating students to develop freely under certain norms, which are innovative and refreshing, therefore, the school history room also hopes to present an innovative and refreshing spatial ambience while still maintaining the solemn rules and order systems.
