Huai Shan Wang 230 Courtyard is a cautious attempt at breaking boundaries: it doesn’t cling to the old, nor chase the new, but quietly stands there, responding to every longing for an ideal living space with the authenticity of the East.

For example, the underground space focuses on the concept of ‘breaking boundaries.’ By introducing natural light, creating artistic landscapes, and connecting spaces multidimensionally, it completely overturns the traditional perception of basements, creating a luxurious and elegant secret realm where above and below ground merge and nature and culture coexist. Following Eastern landscaping wisdom, an indoor courtyard is planted in the elevated atrium, allowing sunlight to penetrate the space. With a solitary tree, moss-covered stones, and plain walls as a backdrop, paired with the play of light and shadow through wooden lattices, it not only breaks the physical boundaries between indoors and outdoors but also reconstructs a tranquil atmosphere.
