關於獎項
紅點設計大獎是由德國設計協會Design Zentrum NRW於1955年創辦，紅點設計大獎主席彼得．賽克博士教授，自1991年起一路帶領紅點，至今紅點標誌已廣受國際認可，成為優秀設計的代名詞。考量設計領域豐富多元，為求評選的審慎與專業，紅點設計大獎特意將獎項區分為：紅點產品設計大獎、紅點傳達設計大獎，以及紅點設計概念大獎三大獎項，每個獎項皆為每年舉辦一次，因此，無論是產品設計、傳達設計、包裝設計到設計概念和原型，紅點都完整掌握時下全球的重要設計趨勢。
紅點年度最佳設計團隊Design Team of the Year 得主直到頒獎典禮當晚才揭曉，並獲頒年年傳承的Radius 獎盃。歷屆得主包括 聯想電腦、保時捷、Bose博士音響、ＢＭＷ、Grohe漢斯格雅衛浴、LG電子，愛迪達、義大利賓尼法利納、蘋果電腦、賓士汽車、Nokia、飛利浦奧迪汽車與西門子、Veryday、博世家電以及 2016年度的 Blackmagic 工業設計團隊等。
